TBT: Yak Baby

Couldn't help but giggle at this super awkward photo of yearling Ruby that popped up in my Facebook memories this morning. Seemed perfect for a throwback Thursday!
Last week
Last December, closest thing I've got! Haha
I don't have any recent stood up conformation shots of her, but I'm still tickled every time I see old ugly duckling photos of her compared to the swan she matured in to. Super glad I took a chance on this girl 6+ years ago.
From yak baby to the #bestbaymare -- it's all about the journey, and ours has been a lot of fun. Here's to 20+ more years of learning and growing together!

    1. I didn't take too many photos in this stage haha. And even less of Cinna in her EXTENDED SUPER AWKWARD HIDE THIS BEHIND THE BARN phase 😂

    1. Haha you better be documenting yours along the way! I should have taken more day to day photos of Cinna, I do regret that. But smart phone cameras we're not as great then lol.

    1. She turned 7 in January, which I'm kind of in denial about! I can't believe she's not still my goofy little yearling.
