Sappy Blogger Appreciation Post

Before we get to the lesson recap, I need to talk about how great blogger friends are. I know Jen just did this, but I feel the need to write my own version. I'm sure it won't come as a surprise to any of you reading this that I am a bit of a chronic overthinker with an above-average amount of anxiety. Things that a normal person would do without thinking twice will give me full on panic attacks. For instance, setting up a new lesson with a trainer that I had to haul to in a totally unfamiliar area. Cue multiple panic attacks beginning with the day I emailed the new trainer to ask about rates/availability, increasing as we sorted through scheduling (and changed dates), and culminating in me being AN ACTUAL WRECK on Friday, the day of the lesson.

❤️❤️ For the friend who sent me this, you made me cry.

Enter, my amazing blogger friends, who talked me off a ledge the morning of, and then provided so much support and encouragement even afterwards. I was in actual tears of happiness once I got home and had a chance to process, and then my friends just piled on with love and appreciation and I cannot get over how LUCKY I am to have such amazing ladies in my corner. And it's all because of blogging. It's because five years ago I stumbled across this neat niche of the internet and decided I wanted to be a part of it. It's because these fantastic human beings accepted me, neuroses and all, and never hesitate to push me out of my comfort zone to try new things.

The support continued all the way through loading up and heading to my lesson (which went great!), and then once I got home and had a chance to decompress a little and share about the lesson, they were just SO GOOD TO ME. I do not deserve these wonderful and kind humans in my life but I am so glad I have them <3

excuse all my typos my fingers can't keep up with my brain sometimes lol

The best part about all of this to me is that some of this encouragement came from people I have never actually met IRL - but they're people I talk to every single day. I love the way that the internet and technology have brought us together and how I can feel closer to people who live hundreds of miles away than people I see every day. So anyway, this is just a post to appreciate the blogosphere and all the FUCKING AWESOME people in it and how glad I am to be here.
