Bareback Hacks

The weather was so beautiful Monday that I zipped home from work, threw on some jeans, and went out and caught Cinna. 60 degrees in January in Missouri is a GIFT. I didn't want to waste precious daylight tacking up, so I just hopped on bareback. She was a trooper, even trotting a little. I didn't have much light, so we didn't ride long, but DH was awesome enough to grab the camera and snap a few shots. This horse is gonna be a superstar with some solid time on her!
Last night we were busy getting shavings put up and reorganizing the tack shed, so I only had time to give Ruby a brief lunge, but hopefully I can ride tonight!
DH has too much free time, so he made me this. I figured it was worth sharing..... lol.

    1. She's pretty neat! She's not too intimidating because she's fairly close to the ground haha.

    1. I just perpetually want to smooch her face. It's a real problem.

    1. Aww thanks! I think she's pretty special, but I'm fairly biased haha.

    1. That was probably about the second time she pulled it off 😂 I don't think he accurately captured some of her insane sideways spooks to avoid stepping on it. Horse eating bell boot on the loose everybody, watch out!

  6. She's so BIG. Without a saddle its so much more obvious. And SWEET drone footage. #goals

    1. She's definitely going to be stout (like her momma). And I think she's in the middle of her umpteenth growth spurt. I'm going to need a taller mounting block haha.

  7. What a good girl! I loved the warm weather we had this week - and today it's back to being cold again
