TGIF! My Week in Photos

Well after riding almost every single day last week, this week feels like a bit of a let down. I did eek out a ride Tuesday (Cinna was FABULOUS), but Monday we had errands and every other night this week we've been helping our neighbor put up square bales. Which is fine, that's how we "pay" for our round bales, so I don't mind, but it does put a damper on the whole regular riding thing when we have to do it multiple nights in a row, haha. Butttttt it's a 3-day weekend and my mom and I are scheming about some riding, so hopefully that pans out! In the meantime, enjoy some photos from this week.

Had our first frost this week

Cici was unamused

DH hung a new gate in my dry lot so there is no more slogging through mud to turn out this winter. Hallelujah! He also hung the fence charger on the post so it's not a messy pile of stuff on the ground.

Of course now it highlights how badly the other gate to my front pasture needs to be rehung, so now that's on the agenda haha.

The last two kittens went to their new homes this week.

Plenty of noodle snuggles

From the one night I got to ride. We looked super cute and I felt like it was a great ride so I was excited to watch the Pivo footage.

Got a lot of footage of Jack instead.... sigh.
(don't @ me I understand the tech I know why it happened I'm just frustrated my setup doesn't really lend itself to using the Pivo much)

Enjoyed some of Ruby's delicious fall dapples.

Sweet moo cows next to the hayfield.

The other kitten settled in his new home.

Delicious sunset from the hayfield!

I hope you had a great week, and if you have a 3-day weekend like me, that you get to spend it doing fun horsey things! :)

    1. Any weekend can be a 3-day weekend if you're willing to set some PTO on fire 😂😉🙃

  2. There's always so much to do! The worst when it interferes with pony time. Hope you got some riding in this weekend!
