I'm literally being the worst blogger ever, sorry. Went to LRK3DE and hung out with a ton of bloggers (probably doubled the number that I've now met in person!) and took like.... No pictures 🙈 #bloggerfail. In my defense, early that week I tweaked my back and instead of getting better, it just progressively got worse and worse until I was barely functional on maxed out doses of anti-inflammatories and muscle relaxers. I originally planned to stay through Sunday but by the time XC wrapped up I was in so much pain I just hit the road back home. Jen's blogger tailgate was AMAZING and I wish I wasn't too exhausted mentally to do it justice, lol, maybe I'll try next week if I have a free minute! In disappointing news for some of you, I bought zero things. I saw some things I wanted, but I was still obsessing over the Fairfax saddle so I kept my money firmly in my pockets.
|This still makes me laugh every time I think about it.|
Missouri decided to do it's best Noah's ark impression for this last week, which at least helped me not feel guilty about continuing to be laid up with my back (getting old is the worst, I cannot believe how much it sucks haha). I am FINALLY starting to feel like a functional human again just in time for the sun to come out and temps to climb to 90, so that should be... Fun. My GMO is having an adult dressage camp so I'll be up snapping photos this weekend in between hopefully riding my hooligans. I've tentatively got a lesson scheduled for next weekend, and I've got a very exciting package on its way to me as we speak, so hopefully things will get back to normal around here soon! Whatever normal is when you're talking about me 🤣
