I need to recap Sunday's lesson, but until I can sit down and work through that.... Cinna is back to work too! The weather is RIDICULOUSLY BEAUTIFUL this week, so I'm hoping to fit in tons of saddle time!
Cinna would like to point out that spring has sprung and so has her winter coat 😂
Her ears remind me so much of her mother, I can't get over it.
Pretending to be eventers 😂
We didn't do much - she's been basically off all this calendar year, since any time I could ride I picked Ruby. I saddled up in the endurance saddle and my dressage headstall, and she was relatively chill (for her, lol). At one point someone rode down the road and all the other horses LOST THEIR SHIT in the dry lots, and Cinna very much wanted to join them, but she mostly kept the hamsters on the wheel haha. We managed to get some very nice trot on a loose rein, and plenty of splashing through puddles and working on circles. We managed to squeak in a good ride before it got dark and didn't even have to turn on the lights #winning
Yay!! Will the Cinnamonster visit new trainer as well?ReplyDelete
That's the plan but right now Ruby is the focus since our show season is imminent lol. And I am still sorting through a tack situation with Cinna to figure out what she's comfortable in. My endurance saddle and a half assembled dressage bridle seems to be her sweet spot right now and I can't wait to see my trainers face when I show up with that 😂Delete
Yay!!! I'm glad you got on Cinna!ReplyDelete
Pammon is shedding a ton all of a sudden too. Hair everywhere!
My birds will be so happy with all the nesting material!Delete
Good girl Cinna! Enjoy the week of beautiful riding weather!!ReplyDelete
I'm riding right now! 😁😁Delete
I love how freckly she is right now. She's adorable. Carmen started to shed quite heavily this week. now I just need the frigging snow to stop!ReplyDelete
She's so flea-bitten! I miss the dapples 😭😭Delete
